"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14  Children Helping ChildrenWe have recently had the joy of watching children reach out to other children to share Christ. Kids in the North America responded to an invitation from WorldServe to minister to our youngest brothers and sisters on the waterways of Cambodia. (See related story Anchored in Christ.) "Kids, You Can Help!" A North American radio station dispatched this message during a children's broadcast.
The listeners were invited to gather their change and send donations to provide Most Important Story booklets for the Vietnamese children living on the waterways of Cambodia. Each child giving $2 provided three Most Important Story booklets to the Cambodian children and received one booklet to keep. Children poured out their offerings for booklets, and they also sent coloring pictures and photos of themselves so the children in Cambodia would have a personal connection with their new friends. |

The children in Cambodia received the booklets and pictures with great excitement and thanksgiving. One group of children on a floating center sent back pictures they had colored, so their new friends in America would have something from them, too. We are challenged to remember and give with the same generosity and love as these children.
