| While WorldServe primarily works in China, Vietnam, Cuba, and Ethiopia... we have also spent 30 years sharing Christ in other countries. One of our global projects has been the Most Important Story initiative. With 60 million copies distributed in more than 100 different languages, The Most Important Story Ever Told is often the first introduction to Jesus Christ many children receive! Through colorful dynamic illustrations, these books effectively reach across age and cultural boundaries to introduce Jesus Christ to tens of millions of children and adults, helping them understand that they can have a personal relationship with Christ as their Savior. Sri Lanka: Rebuilding Tsunami-Torn Lives On December 26, 2004, the world was shaken by the news that a series of devastating tsunamis had wreaked havoc in coastal communities across South and Southeast Asia. WorldServe has been blessed to help provide some relief to the stricken communities.  Sri Lanka: Grace and Peace in Disaster Even in the widespread destruction of the tsunamis God was at work laying the foundation for revival in Sri Lanka. Stories abound of God's great work, protecting the faithful and using them, both in their lives and in their tragic deaths, to reach the lost. |
