We want to provide the most significant impact for every dollar given, so that we can reach the greatest number of people with the Gospel. We have worked for many years to find the best and safest ways to distribute Bibles, and because of our experience and cost-effectiveness, many other ministries partner with us in sharing God's Word.Bibles are Usually Printed Within the Destination Country WorldServe's project for Bible printing and distribution is done locally under the trusted leadership of the Church. This method of working through their networks is the most effective and safest way to operate. We have found several benefits from printing the Bibles within the targeted area. Lower Printing Costs: Printing is much cheaper in the local countries. Reduced Shipping Costs: When Bibles are printed by local believers, we are able to help their local economy as well as minimize shipping and distribution costs. Fewer Safety Risks: When Bibles are printed locally, rather than smuggled in, the risk of confiscation and the threat of arrest for those involved in this vital work is greatly reduced. Most Expedient Delivery: Most importantly, Bibles printed locally can be provided with great speed, allowing Bibles to more quickly be placed into the hands of waiting believers. Other Ministries Outsource to WorldServe We are thankful for other ministries who often partner with WorldServe in distributing Scriptures to those who are without. When these ministries investigate cost-effective options for distributing Bibles, they often realize that WorldServe already has the lowest-cost options in place, and we are always happy to serve. |

Because the Holy Spirit has moved these groups to mobilize God's Word and they also desire to be good stewards of the funds entrusted to them, they often choose to partner with us. They promote a donation campaign, and then pass along the money raised for Bibles to WorldServe. We are thankful for these partners and their desire to provide Bibles to those in need. Since these ministry partners must cover their own advertising and operational costs, in addition to WorldServe's cost to print the Bibles, their campaigns end up providing fewer Bibles per donation. We all have the same goal: to get Bibles into the hands of believers. We are glad for any way that the Lord provides for us and for our partners to achieve that goal.
