For a limited time, WorldServe Ministries has been given a dollar-matching grant for a bonus $500,000 if we can raise the other half from contributors like you. By combining your giving with this matching grant, collectively we can take $1 million dollars in Bibles to the areas where God’s Word is most desperately needed. Grant Money Is Increased—The Vision Expands! In December, we notified our regular givers about a matching-grant opportunity for a $200,000 contribution to our Vietnam Bible Initiative. Just recently, the grant was increased by $300,000 that will be distributed to additional countries around the world, including Ethiopia, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Cambodia, Cuba, and the Middle East! All these countries face an overwhelming need for God’s Word. But WorldServe will only receive the grant funds in response to the gifts we receive for this initiative. The Visual Impact Each Bible, printed and distributed in the regional languages, costs an average of $4 per Bible. Normally, a $60 contribution allows WorldServe to distribute about 15 Bibles. However, for a short time every dollar you give will be matched by the grant. Your gift of $60, combined with the matching grant money, will help WorldServe purchase and distribute 30 Bibles! Even more importantly, up to ten people share each Bible we deliver. This means 30 Bibles can potentially change the lives of 300 people who need to hear God’s Word.  These grant funds will only be released in response to the gifts we receive for this initiative. |

Ever-Increasing Need for More Scripture Despite attempts to stifle God’s Word in these restricted countries, the Good News is irrepressible, and the need for more Scripture skyrockets. In Vietnam alone, there were nearly 300,000 decisions for Christ last year, yet only 30,000 official Bibles were printed. The supply of Bibles meets only 10% of the new demand! In each of the countries our Bible ministry reaches, the remnants of believers have grown into strong and flourishing churches with thousands of men, women, and children coming to Christ every week. By providing Scriptures for these new and ever-expanding bodies of believers, we bring to them the light of God’s Word to direct their faith, equip them to share with others, and help them become fully grounded in God’s living Word.
